A new flexible working model

Flex Office is an alternative to corporate headquarters and employees' homes.

The most awarded coworking space in Portugal has updated its offer of shared work spaces with the creation of the Flex Office, a new work model adapted to an era in which many companies are reinventing their strategy.

Avila Spaces has a new proposal for shared workspaces that comes in response to a year that forced many companies to redefine their business, their work model and their organization. The Flex Office is the evolution of the offer that Avila Spaces already had with the Business Lounge and the coworking space, which now allows you to take advantage of these two models of work without further costs for users.

The flexible office model is an alternative to the offices of the company's headquarters and to the employees' homes, the latter a space that gained new importance in 2020 due to the pandemic of COVID-19 that made many companies put employees in telework.

«This pandemic made people live apart from each other, but it reinforced the spirit of community and collaboration. Avila Spaces thus assumes itself as a satellite office between these two realities, which brings people back together in a safe environment and with several premium services included », says Carlos Gonçalves, CEO of Avila Spaces.

Flex Office is based on an offer of workspaces that can be subscribed according to the needs of users, including the purchase of a prepaid pass to access the Avila Business Lounge, which, for 15 euros, allows you to use this space for ten days, in a hostdesking regime. The alternative is a pass with a monthly subscription of 150 euros that gives you access to the space during all working days of the week, from 8 am to 8 pm.

With entry to the cowork and the Business Lounge, access to meeting rooms, private phone boots, videoconference room, pantry (with free drinks, fruit and snacks) and terrace are also guaranteed (free of charge) and terrace. Access to the Wi-Fi network, reception service and cleaning are included in the price.

In the Flex Office, fixed workstations (250 euros / month), private offices for up to eight employees (from 550 euros per month) and rental of meeting rooms for up to 24 people (from 13 euros / hour) ). All models do not require any loyalty period and can be canceled at any time. In this model of hybrid and flexible work, users only pay for the services they use, being able to combine private rooms with cowork spaces and meeting rooms.

«Cowork space, meeting rooms, individual phone boots, rooms for videoconferencing, pantry, terrace, lounge and private offices that can be used on a very flexible basis. This hybrid work model is more economical, as it allows a 75% reduction in costs, considering the cost per employee in an office in the center of Lisbon. Spaces like ours contribute to reconnecting people », says Carlos Gonçalves.

You can see here a video about the Flex Office at Avila Spaces, where there are two testimonials from companies (Royal Caribbean and QSR) about the advantages of having opted for this new hybrid work model.
