Avila Spaces donates 1.025 euros to the Lisbon IPO.

The value was achieved with the sales of solidary Avila Selection wines. The sales of the wine collection that Avila Spaces launched at the end of 2020, in partnership with the Alentejo producer Brejinho da Costa, allowed this donation to be made to the hospital. Avila Spaces donated 1.025 euros to the pediatric wing of the Lisbon IPO - this was the value of 50% of the sales of the totality of the limited edition of the Avila Selection wines, which the company launched at the end of 2020, in partnership with the producer Brejinho da Costa. "Initially, this was a wine only to be offered to Avila clients and friends, but we decided to go further and give it a solidary" mission ". Every year we donate the IPO and this time, also due to the situation of the pandemic, we decided to combine the useful with the pleasant and help even more this hospital that has such a noble mission, which is to help children with cancer », explains Carlos Gonçalves, CEO of Avila Spaces. «We are very grateful to Avila Spaces and its community. We will use this money to improve the comfort conditions to be offered to our patients and family members, as well as to finance the continuous training of our professionals integrated with international groups for the treatment of childhood cancer. With the growing demand for quality, more and more civil society is called to commit to improving patient care », says Filomena Pereira, director of the pediatric service at the IPO. The Avila Selection range included three wines (Avila Selection White, Avila Selection Red, and Avila Selection Rosé) that will be on sale at the Avila Spaces space in Lisbon, and also online at https://avilaspaces.com/en/wine/- the price of each bottle was 6 euros. In 2021, Avila wants to reinforce its commitment to social responsibility and is already working with more partners to develop campaigns that will allow the efforts of the coworker community to join together around more solidarity initiatives. This has also been one of the focus of the company's activities: in recent years, Avila has organized, for example, live concerts in the lounge that were used to collect clothes to donate to social institutions. «Our mission is also social. Every day we encourage our coworkers to behave in a supportive and sustainable manner. More than ever, in 2020 and 2021 we went and will be put to the test to help others and that is how we want to continue to act ”, guarantees Carlos Gonçalves.
