Avila Spaces in the Final of the World's Biggest Business Golf Tournament

We have emerged as the winner of the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) Portugal, in the first year that our team, comprised of Nuno Costa Alemão, Miguel Lourenço, and Luís Pinheiro, has participated in this competition.

According to our CEO Carlos Gonçalves, the company "shares a set of values with golf, such as team spirit, respect, transparency, and loyalty." One of Avila Spaces' social missions is also aligned with this reality: "Our aim is to contribute to the democratization of golf in Portugal, hence our partnership with the Portuguese Golf Federation and the National Golf Training Center, as well as the tournaments and clinics we've been organizing for several years."

With this victory on the national circuit, Avila Spaces earns a place in the international final of the World Corporate Golf Challenge, which takes place between 28 October and 1 November in Haikou, China. Here, Avila Spaces will compete against other corporate teams from countries such as Germany, Morocco, Brazil, India, and New Zealand.

Nuno Costa Alemão, Miguel Lourenço, and Luís Pinheiro perfectly represent the values and identity of our company," says Carlos Gonçalves.

For Estela Sargento, licensee holder of WCGC Portugal, the balance of 2024 is "fantastic." There were "five stages, 180 companies, and 360 players took part"; the event "gained new partners, players, and companies," which "reflects the work and development of WCGC Portugal." Ana Massapina, also a licensee holder, adds that this competition "contributes significantly to the growth and visibility of companies."

Regarding expectations for the Haikou final, our CEO says he has "no doubt that Avila has a world-class team" and that Portugal "will be very well represented." Carlos Gonçalves also promises that the team will "do everything possible to bring home the prize," but points out that there are other reasons to be interested: "Above all, we hope it will be an excellent experience, from a personal, sporting, and professional point of view."
