Carlos Gonçalves is ambassador for Great Place to Work in Portugal

The year 2020 starts in the best way for Avila Spaces, with the nomination of Carlos Gonçalves to the post of ambassador for the Great Place to Work certification program. This international organization is responsible for recognizing in more than 60 countries the best companies to work for. In 2019, in order to expand this recognition, it created the Great Place to Work Portugal certification program, which now grants the seal to companies with 5 to 19 employees and who are already committed and concerned with creating and maintaining a culture of confidence in their organizations, strengthening their employer brand. In May 2019, five companies based in Avila Spaces received the Great Place to Work Highlight Award, which recognizes the fulfillment of quality standards within the scope of the organizational environment: Insure Broker, Partneer, Partteam & OEMkiosks, Salary Fits and QIADO. Still in 2019, it was the turn of Avila Spaces itself to be distinguished with this certificate: currently, Avila is the only business center and coworking space with this certification in Portugal. Now, the year 2020 enters with Carlos Gonçalves, CEO of Avila Spaces, occupying the post of ambassador of this Great Place to Work certification program in Portugal: «It is an honor to be ambassador of this GPTW program in Portugal, this distinction shows the recognition of the work of the entire Avila Spaces team whose main mission is to provide an excellent working environment, not only within our company, but also in all of the workspaces managed by Avila which has hosted more than a thousand companies the past fifteen years'. As ambassador, Carlos Gonçalves will have the mission of sharing with the community the benefits of promoting a good organizational climate in companies and boosting this initiative among entrepreneurs who believe and value in transforming business through people and are on the right path to be a Great Place to Work. The partnership between Avila and Great Place to Work also provides the delivery of the Highlight Awards to companies that meet quality standards within the scope of the organizational environment as happened in 2019, with the nomitation of five customers of this space, as mentioned. According to Maurício Korbivcher, CEO of Great Place to Work in Portugal, "We also want small businesses to be part of this community and this movement.
