Certainly that some of these sentences are familiar to you: I would love to work here, with this landscape! or I can't believe I have to go back to the office! I don’t understand why. I could perfectly work here. I would work even better. or how many times did it happen to be on a trip with your friends and tell them Go on, I just need to stop at a coffee shop with Wi-Fi to answer some emails. Fortunately there are leaders with vision that have already transformed those sentences in something obsolete. And so, and thank to them and the market search and of its best professionals, the WORKATION (Work+Vacation) movement was born. A movement the privileges the efficiency, the empowerment, the constant cultural enrichment and the happiness of the professionals. It doesn't matter where they are or what they are doing. As long as they produce and add value. Truth is companies risk themselves and even prefer to loose unquestionable talents, those capable of creating solutions and perceived value to the clients, even that they have to "send” them to work where they feel happier and, for that, more productive; by keeping in their boards and preferably under control, average professionals, those not capable to shake competition, that feel more professional when put on a tie and objectives delivers when start before time and fulfill the commercial objectives of that year (without having the slightest idea of what is going to happen to them in the next, by lacking something so important such as Strategic Vision and Creating Value). It is the old dichotomy between getting married with the person we are irrationally in love or choose to do so with the person that offers us more guarantee of stability, even knowing that is not passion that drives us. In a perfect world, the professional who is capable to set the trend of the sector, through the creation of added value solutions for who is more important in the company (not the Boss, but the Client), has freedom (because it has responsibilities) to be happy while working and working while is happy. And it has it because is focused on the essential, is disciplined and follows a leader that doesn't show on having Power to fire, but the Authority to teach. Fortunately, that perfect world already exists. And there are markets where there are already leaders and professionals that marry by passion… and enjoy working while having fun...
