The Inner Game of Leadership:A Guide to Emotional Management
Feeling stressed gives us the energy to push through.
Feeling angry motivates us to take action.
Feeling worried helps us to focus on the details.

Is it true? Does it work?

Sometimes, maybe — but it’s not necessary and it takes its toll.

It is possible to resolve conflict from a state of calm.
It is possible to deal with a heavy workload without stress.
It is possible to communicate assertively without creating anxiety.
It is possible to be focused on learning during difficult situations.

Good emotional management is the most valuable tool we have at our disposal. It allows us to work well on teams, advocate for ourselves and our projects, have difficult conversations, deal with uncertainties or disappointments.

And more than that, it’s not just at work. Our emotional state dictates how we spend our days and live our lives. Is there anything more valuable than knowing how to manage this part of ourselves?

Please join me for a conversation about how to develop emotional management skills, stay centered, make good decisions, have healthy relationships, and live with more freedom, peace, joy and flow.
