Avila Spaces has once again been recognized as one of the best organizations in the global startup ecosystem. Our flexible workspace beat out the other thirteen finalists from France, Spain, Italy, Malta and Greece, thus reinforcing the designation of Best Coworking Space in Southern Europe by the South Europe Startup Awards (SESA). This distinction comes for the second time in three years, and precisely in the year that Avila Spaces opened the first national coworking space inserted in the galleries of a shopping center: the Avila Work City in the Atrium Saldanha in Lisbon. Avila Work City is an open space of 640 square meters, a real "miniature city", where we offer our coworkers access to an integrated set of services, lounge areas, collaborative work zones, meeting rooms, pantry and an amphitheater integrated in a presentation area. We innovated with the development of the app/social network Avila Connect, which also reinforces the networking aspect among the Avila Spaces community. "This recognition is very important for the whole team and reinforces our positioning as leaders in innovation in Portugal. We continue to be the most awarded workspace in the country and we especially thank the clients that, in the last two years, have given us confidence, resilience and courage", says Carlos Gonçalves, our leader and CEO Avila Spaces. SESA's Best Coworking Space in Southern Europe award is also
a passport to the Global Startup Awards competition (with date to be
announced), from which the best coworking space in the world will emerge. Here,
the Avila competes with the other regional winners: Nordic Countries, Central
Europe, Euro-Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. |
