ENVIRONMENT |
![]() | 1 - Resource Efficiency - We have installed energy-efficient lighting (LED), heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in all workspaces. 2 - Smart building technologies - Motion sensors and timers are used to manage lighting and HVAC systems efficiently in unoccupied spaces, optimizing energy consumption. 3 - Disposable-free policy - We supply glass bottles and offer dishes such as cups, mugs, plates, and utensils as an alternative to plastic usage. 4 - Mobility - All of our three spaces are located in strategic areas of Lisbon- connected with public transportation, facilitating access without the need for personal vehicles. |
![]() | 5 - Emission Reduction - We provide free bicycle parking in all locations for our entire community, and also offer showers at the AR and PN facilities for those arriving on foot or by bicycle. 6 - Sustainable Practices - Encourage recycling practices by providing recycling bins for paper, plastic, organic and glass materials. The bathroom taps are equipped with a timer to avoid wasting water. 7 - Circular Economy Approach - Our flexible office spaces accommodate high-quality furnishings that are continuously reused and repurposed across our three spaces. 8 - Indoor Air Quality - Our coworking space has effective ventilation to reduce indoor air pollutants, with routine air quality checks and HVAC maintenance. 9 - Certifications - At Atrium Saldanha, we have already begun the process of obtaining LEED and BREEAM certifications. |

![]() | 1 - Sustainable Organizational Culture: We promote a culture of sustainability among professionals from diverse backgrounds, cultivating a diverse and inclusive community through events, workshops, and ongoing communication about sustainability initiatives. 2 - Social Responsibility: Since 2020, Avila Spaces has been actively involved in a solidarity initiative in collaboration with the pediatric service of IPO - Portuguese Institute of Oncology. Our latest efforts have resulted in donations totaling over €1200/year for the foundation. 3 - Wellbeing and Personal Growth: We provide weekly meditation classes for members and monthly coaching sessions for employees. Additionally, we offer standing desks with monitors and ergonomic workstations to promote a dynamic work approach for our clients. |
