With Beyond the Work-Life Game: Golf, Life, Purpose, Avila Spaces follows Pedro “Figgy” Figueiredo on and off the course, exploring how routine, well-being and purpose all play a part in achieving ambitious goals.

This is the less visible side of Pedro “Figgy” Figueiredo’s life that takes centre stage in Beyond the Work-Life Game: Golf, Life, Purpose, a new three-episode documentary series produced by Avila Spaces and now available on YouTube.
The series premiere also marks the renewal of the partnership between Avila Spaces and the Portuguese golfer, which began in April 2025. More than simply following his sporting career, the project introduces viewers to the person behind the player and explores how he balances professional ambition with personal well-being and life beyond the course.
The first episode, The Routine, shows how Pedro Figueiredo’s daily habits are an essential part of his preparation. From morning meditation and reading to golf practice and physical training, viewers get a glimpse behind the scenes of a routine designed to meet the demands of the professional circuit.
In a sport where results depend on many factors, focusing on what can be controlled becomes particularly important. As the golfer explains: “Results are something I cannot control. My routine is something I can control.”
This mindset reflects a reality that extends beyond sport: achieving goals requires consistency, adaptability and attention to the habits that support long-term performance.
The sponsorship renewal comes at a particularly important stage in the golfer’s career. From 29 October to 1 November, Pedro Figueiredo will compete in the Rolex Grand Final of the HotelPlanner Tour in Mallorca. The tournament concludes the Road to Mallorca and offers players the chance to secure access to the DP World Tour for 2027.
The Portuguese golfer competed on this circuit between 2019 and 2024 and is now aiming to return to one of the leading professional golf tours in Europe. Against this backdrop of high expectations and ambition, Avila Spaces’ continued support takes on particular significance.

Throughout his career, “Figgy” has won six national titles as an amateur, claimed a victory on the Challenge Tour and secured three wins in National Collegiate Athletic Association tournaments in the United States. Before turning professional, he represented the Portuguese National Team, Team Europe and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) golf team, where he combined his studies with competitive golf.
The new documentary series offers another way to follow his journey and discover the work that takes place beyond the moments of competition. Because, in golf as in the professional world, results matter — but so does the journey it takes to achieve them.
